Conducting an IP due diligence survey and risk assessment report to inform an acquisition strategy

      Overview

A Singaporean investment holdings company asked us to evaluate the IP risks associated with their proposed acquisition of a United Arab Emirates online payment processing company.

      Our Approach

We interviewed representatives of the target company, gathering information on the quantity and quality of their registered and unregistered intellectual property rights. With the deal being close to conclusion, we verified and evaluated the major issues and risks associated with the business transaction.

      Value Created

With a complete understanding of the target company’s IP positions, delivered in the form of a comprehensive IP Due Diligence Report, the investment holdings company was able to secure its position in negotiations with the seller.
